The Corinthian helmet and armor were iconic elements of ancient Greek warfare, particularly used by hoplite soldiers from the 7th to 4th centuries BCE . 

Corinthian Armor (Hoplite Panoply)

• Cuirass (Body Armor): Early versions were made of bronze, covering the torso for maximum protection. Later versions included linothorax, a lighter layered linen armor reinforced with leather or metal plates.
• Greaves (Leg Protection): Bronze shin guards helped protect the lower legs from enemy strikes.
• Shield (Aspis or Hoplon): Large, round, and heavily reinforced, it was essential for the phalanx formation, a key Greek military tactic.
• Weapons: Typically included a spear (dory) for thrusting and a short sword (xiphos) for close combat.

The Corinthian helmet remains one of the most recognizable symbols of Greek warriors and is often depicted in art, movies, and history books.
